We have great credit, thankfully, but somehow my cell number became the target for collecting on a student loan. There were tons of calls (I never answered thanks to these websites) and then peace until today this number showed up. So not sure how my number got on their lists, I haven't had a student loan since 1983, and it was paid up long ago. Bless you all for reporting on these numbers.
Got a call from 267-407-0100. Didn't say who he was. He gruffly asked for a person that doesn't live at my house. It gave me a creepy feeling so I did an internet search and found this web site. Now I suspect he was just going through the phone book and fishing using similar names. Still the guy was impolite and creepy.
I received a few calls from the 267-407-0100 number with someone asking me to return the call urgently. Sounded kind of strange so I googled the number and here is what I did after what I found out I put a personals ad on craigslist and called it a day
