We have great credit, thankfully, but somehow my cell number became the target for collecting on a student loan. There were tons of calls (I never answered thanks to these websites) and then peace until today this number showed up. So not sure how my number got on their lists, I haven't had a student loan since 1983, and it was paid up long ago. Bless you all for reporting on these numbers.
This person called me three times within a month. They never left a message. One day they called me and said nothing. I could hear the TV in the background. I stopped saying hello and then just waited to see what they were going to say and they then just hung up.
This person called my number twice in one day, once at 3:28pm and again at 4:51pm. The first time I didnt pick up but the second time I did and they asked for my husband. I too could hear a TV or maybe a radio in the background. They wouldnt tell me what type of company it was, just gave me their name and asked if my husband was here. I told them he doesnt know any <their name here> and hung up. Who ARE these ppl?
