Scammers from India telling folks their computer has been hacked and they are here to save the day if only you will let them log on with you to remove the threat. Told me to go to hell when I said I did not have a windows computer.
Got a call from this number today. A woman with strong asian accent was calling to tell me of a problem with my broadband connection. No doubt yet another scam call. How do these lines exist ? If gullible people did not believe the rubbish they spout they would NOT exist.
Same call, same woman. couldn't identify what kind of computer I had, but she was interested in fixing it. 3 calls like this in the last 3 days. Hate these scammers!
Call from this number yesterday. Didn't answer. Another call from this number today. So answered. According to google lookup the number belongs to Micaela Gomez which is what the caller ID displays. But it isn't poor Micaela. It is a spammer from India saying that my PC is sending out error messages. These guys must be spoofing the number.
I acted dumb when I answered, and told the caller (the indian guy) that I didn't have a computer, or a laptop, so he hung up. Hope he doesn't call again. Have been getting more and more calls about my computer lately from all kinds of different numbers. I just let them all go to voice mail usually. Now I will let this one go there as well.
Don't these Indian's have any real jobs? They keep coming here on H1B's and stealing American jobs. I would think after all this time, over 20 years, they would have gotten IT jobs for all their great "technically skilled" people.
I put the phone on speaker and, while walking about, doing important things at home (like house cleaning), string the guy along as long as I can, then finally tell him I don't have a computer and that I've wasted his time like he is mine. It's juvenile of me; I'm ok with that. :)
I just received a call from Micalea Gomez..."He" says that hackers are trying to get into my computer..I told him he is the only hacker trying to get in and that he is a "phucking" idiot. he quickly hung up..
