Scammers from India telling folks their computer has been hacked and they are here to save the day if only you will let them log on with you to remove the threat. Told me to go to hell when I said I did not have a windows computer.
I also had a call from 281-564-1012 w/a foreign accent of the name of Micaela Gomez. Could'nt understand a word except that she said we are having a problem with Microsoft. This call came at 7:38 am today May 4 2015. My husbands brother has been very sick in Fl. in & out of the hiospital there. this call scared us to no end. The next calls coming on my phone not from anyone I don't know gets my old whistle in their ear. Sick of these calls coming at all times. Sick o fthem all actually. GD sickos
They told me the standard spiel about a hacker trying to get into my computer. I said, "Oh, you need to talk to my son. He works in IT (a lie) and he'll know EXACTLY what you're talking about . Hold on and I'll get him." Was just going to put him on hold, but he hung up so fast he might have hurt himself.
A guy with accent called again today to ask about my computer (which, of course, is not true). Told him I do not own a computer and not to call my number again,
and I hung up the phone.

"gomez micaela" on the caller ID as well. They leave a message, but it's so digitally broken up I can't tell what they're saying. Now I know. Thanks for posting......
The phone companies have the power to stop these calls, but they won't because they make money from them.
I hate the thought of more legislation, but it may be the only way to force the phone companies hand.
