Scammers from India telling folks their computer has been hacked and they are here to save the day if only you will let them log on with you to remove the threat. Told me to go to hell when I said I did not have a windows computer.
Got the same call from Micaela Gomez too... I started running around the house screaming to help me cause we were getting hacked and told my family to get off the computer... apparently Haji realized I was kidding and I wished Aids on his kids, family and him but only after they all died a painful death... Hmmm for some reasons the dirt boy hung up? Go figure.
call from this number stating I had recurrent errors reported from my computer. I said I knew it was a scam. the guy with heavy accent said he could f------ me. I hung up. He called back again and said he was the same computer guy and could F---- me. I told him I had the number and was reporting as a scam. He hung up and did not call back again.
Same thing as previous posts. I was sleeping in this morning and some jerk called about 9 am, saying someone had hacked into my computer and if I gave him a few minutes of my time he could show me. If I'd been a little faster on my feet, I would have said, "No, YOU'RE the hacker, and you're going to show me how you plan to hack my system". But I just hung up. This number's come up on my answering machine before. Never says if he's with a company, and this guy had a thick east Indian accent. All I can say is, if you hackers are so damn smart, why aren't you working in a real job?
Similar to others, it was the computer service scam. Said he was from GlobalTech. The guy was obviously reading from a script, so I started playing one of the recordings of the scam on the internet back to him which I quickly found searching for eventvwr scam. Sounds like they're using the same script.
