I received a call from this number -- rep said he was from Birch Communications. Tried to say my boss entered into a contract with his company.... when I advised him we were in a contract with AT & T -- he said we would have to pay all the fines and charges for not fulfilling the contract my boss supposedly entered into with them [he did not]. When I told the Birch Communications rep I was going to call AT&T to look into this matter -- he said he would do us a favor by cancelling the alleged new account and all the back charges due. Then he quickly hung up!
A guy called at least 10 times in a row. He's called all week. He kept harassing and saying he was going call until 3 a.m. So I ended up calling the police reporting the number. Then I unplugged my house phone due to be scared of him calling all night. Please report this number ASAP!
302-257-5673 called me today, Dec. 2, asked me my name and said if I didn't make very many long distance phone calls he could reduced my bill by 15%. I told him I had no way to verify who he was and besides I don' t do business over the phone, sorry. He said thanks and hung up.
The caller ID was: UNASSIGNED 302-257-5673 7:15 pm The caller said This is Roxanne with Long Distance Access - You get a 30% discount - you will be charged less than your regular monthly telephone bill. I said Please send me this info in the mail. She said We don't send stuff that might be misidentified as junk mail. We would send a welcome packet (with all that info) AFTER VERIFICATION. I said I am not interested. She said You're not interested in saving money? I hung up.
