I received a call from this number -- rep said he was from Birch Communications. Tried to say my boss entered into a contract with his company.... when I advised him we were in a contract with AT & T -- he said we would have to pay all the fines and charges for not fulfilling the contract my boss supposedly entered into with them [he did not]. When I told the Birch Communications rep I was going to call AT&T to look into this matter -- he said he would do us a favor by cancelling the alleged new account and all the back charges due. Then he quickly hung up!
They called 3 days ago leaving no message. They alled today, wanted to talk about my AT & T account. Asked who they were and lady told me Birch Telephone Company. At least they told the truth but still a time waster.
This number has been calling for the past two weeks. They call at least twice each day and hang up as soon as I answer. Caller ID always shows Unassigned. The FCC complaint form has an option for these types of calls and I just filed a complaint.
