I received a call from this number -- rep said he was from Birch Communications. Tried to say my boss entered into a contract with his company.... when I advised him we were in a contract with AT & T -- he said we would have to pay all the fines and charges for not fulfilling the contract my boss supposedly entered into with them [he did not]. When I told the Birch Communications rep I was going to call AT&T to look into this matter -- he said he would do us a favor by cancelling the alleged new account and all the back charges due. Then he quickly hung up!
This number keep calling sometimes twice a day requesting for the owner of the phone line. He asked me did I wanted to save 15% off of my phone bill. I politely told him that he was a scam and he got very irate with me by trying to defend himself that he's not a scam and not to call him that. I told him not to call this number anymore and I hung up the phone.
This number keeps calling and calling. Most of the time it's just dead air when I answer, but this morning someone swore and then hung up. Spoofed caller ID showed *Unassigned. If you don't already have slamming/cramming protection on your phone lines, call your phone company and ask for it, it's free and an easy way to prevent these guys from doing harm to your phone bill. Those scumbags from Birch Communications need to have the FCC and FTC shut them up since they are breaking all kinds of telemarketing rules. It's so important to report this to the FCC, FTC, and even your Attorney General's office. Make a stink so that they know we are all sick and tired or these calls.
This number has been calling a state office line repeatedly, at least once a day sometimes 4, for the past week. No one ever says anything, nothing but dead air.
