302-257-5673 just called and claimed to be calling from Verizon. Caller was very rude. I almost believed the caller was from Verizon and then I realized scam and said, oh no, and hung up.
Someone from this number, 302-257-5673, called two of our business lines today. They hung up without saying anything. If they are indeed Birch Communications, they have called numerous times in the past and have been told we are not interested. I have also asked them to remove our numbers from their calling lists, but they refuse to do so. When someone does answer they are quite rude and misleading.
Got a call today from "Birch Communications" wanting to help me with my AT&T bill due to possible overcharge. When I went through with listening to their offer they told me they work with AT&T & have over half a million lines through them. Offered to lower my bill to $79.90 starting next month with no changes to my plan. I was switched over to Dante the floor manager with their company at which time I informed I would need to contact AT&T to confirm & he responded with, "What?" I explained that I'm sure he would understand why I would need a confirmation from them since there all types of scams being ran. I then asked for a call back number & he told me to have a good day then hung up. After searching the company online I find nowhere that AT&T is affiliated with this company. http://www.birch.com/Business.aspx
