I received a call from this number -- rep said he was from Birch Communications. Tried to say my boss entered into a contract with his company.... when I advised him we were in a contract with AT & T -- he said we would have to pay all the fines and charges for not fulfilling the contract my boss supposedly entered into with them [he did not]. When I told the Birch Communications rep I was going to call AT&T to look into this matter -- he said he would do us a favor by cancelling the alleged new account and all the back charges due. Then he quickly hung up!
Someone from this number, 302-257-5673, called two of our business lines today. They hung up without saying anything. If they are indeed Birch Communications, they have called numerous times in the past and have been told we are not interested. I have also asked them to remove our numbers from their calling lists, but they refuse to do so. When someone does answer they are quite rude and misleading.
Got a call today from "Birch Communications" wanting to help me with my AT&T bill due to possible overcharge. When I went through with listening to their offer they told me they work with AT&T & have over half a million lines through them. Offered to lower my bill to $79.90 starting next month with no changes to my plan. I was switched over to Dante the floor manager with their company at which time I informed I would need to contact AT&T to confirm & he responded with, "What?" I explained that I'm sure he would understand why I would need a confirmation from them since there all types of scams being ran. I then asked for a call back number & he told me to have a good day then hung up.
