I received a call from this number -- rep said he was from Birch Communications. Tried to say my boss entered into a contract with his company.... when I advised him we were in a contract with AT & T -- he said we would have to pay all the fines and charges for not fulfilling the contract my boss supposedly entered into with them [he did not]. When I told the Birch Communications rep I was going to call AT&T to look into this matter -- he said he would do us a favor by cancelling the alleged new account and all the back charges due. Then he quickly hung up!
I asked for a call back number as well and the lady told me that if I wanted to save 30% on my home phone bill, I had to do it now bc there is no call back number. I told her that if there wasn't a call back number then I wasn't interested. The operator turned from friendly to very rude immediately so I hung up.
They called us and super creepy and aggressively said our telephone account was being overcharged. when i asked who this was they again creepily said have a good day and hung up! so i *69 and came up with this number and then googled it to find this page. i see we are not alone.
