Close - it's fraud. Or at least it was fraud in my case. and the # is actually legit - you can make them verify it by asking them about how you have used your card. If they're legit, they'll tell you the last charge, etc. (see my post below)
I got a call from this # and they claimed to be bank of america. They left me a voicemail requesting me to call regarding my account, funny because i don't have an account with them
Didn't answer because I didn't know the number. They left a voicemail claiming to be from Bank of America letting me know they froze my account due to suspicious activity wanting me to call 1-877-451-4602. They knew my last 4 digits, but I have had no activity in the last couple weeks, so I knew it couldn't be real.
Actually, They called my house this morning with the same exact line, It raised a RED FLAG with me also. I do have a BOA Account, so I personally called BOA about this, They verrified the number as their Fraud number, and someone actually did try to access my account.
Anytime someone calls regarding your account and you question its authenticity, You should find the correct professional number for the actual buisness to get whatever the situation cleared up.
Although you dont have a BOA account, You never know if some Jack&%s has created their own account in YOUR Name!!

Received phone calls from this number over the last two weeks. A message was left today. A woman stating her name was Crystal said that they needed to talk to me re the Business Credit Card that I had personally guaranteed. I do not have a BOA card, a business or personally guarantee cards for others. Referred me to (877) 640-5433 and an extension. When I called the 302-458-0973 number it referred me an 800 number which stated Credit Services. I called BOA and they have never heard of me.
recd a msg stating they want to talk to me about my husband estate with credit card services which we do not have lesf a nbr to call 888-221-4299 x31291 ask for Kate Mccullom the phone nbr on my tel was 302-458-0973 - of course I will not call back
