They called and said they were my grandchild who was in jail and needed money to get out. He supposedly traveled to Florida for a funeral and got arrested for a DUI. He said a lawyer would call back with details. A "lawyer" called back a couple minutes later with additional details about the arrest and said he called grandpa because he didn't want to call his mom and dad. We said we needed to call his mom first to make sure. He was home in bed, and calls back to the number went direct to voicemail.
Received 2 calls from this number...12/24/09 @ 9:25 am, and 12/23/09 @ 8:09 pm. Didn't answer either call, and they never left a number. I didn't try to call them back either, and a white pages reverse phone directory search yieled no results.
received a call, answered to a recorded message asking to leave contact information if interested in health insurance. logged a complaint with the DONOTCALLREGISTRY
i received a call and a message was left by an answering machine saying to press 1 for more information on a promotion that is with no compromise.. this has to be a telemarketer. weird since I am register in do not call list..
Got a call from this number a few minutes ago - some automated message about buying health insurance. Could not get to a live speaker or anything other than the automated message.
