They called and said they were my grandchild who was in jail and needed money to get out. He supposedly traveled to Florida for a funeral and got arrested for a DUI. He said a lawyer would call back with details. A "lawyer" called back a couple minutes later with additional details about the arrest and said he called grandpa because he didn't want to call his mom and dad. We said we needed to call his mom first to make sure. He was home in bed, and calls back to the number went direct to voicemail.
Sunday 1/10/2010 robo-call soliciting health insurance"...are you paying too much for health insurance?" Left nasty message with them about violating Federal Law and do not call list. Left complaint at DoNotCall.gov where myt cell is already registered. The more people complain at Do Not Call website the sooner it will become a priority, I would hope. Maybe I should play along next time and ask them to call me, so I can get more information on them. Anyone try this yet?
