They called and said they were my grandchild who was in jail and needed money to get out. He supposedly traveled to Florida for a funeral and got arrested for a DUI. He said a lawyer would call back with details. A "lawyer" called back a couple minutes later with additional details about the arrest and said he called grandpa because he didn't want to call his mom and dad. We said we needed to call his mom first to make sure. He was home in bed, and calls back to the number went direct to voicemail.
i have been receiving calls from 305-330-4525 during the day when I was working. no messages were left. 2 days ago I received another call from this number. I immediately picked it up and a man said right away, "sorry I have the wrong number". The next day my husband started receiving calls from this number on his cell phone. strange huh! Both our cell #s are on 'do not call lists'. What company is leaking our information???? Reverse ph lookups don't help and the number doesn't receive incoming calls. Any private investigators out there? definitely some type of scam going on.
Got a call today on my cell phone from this number and decided to answer. It's an automated health insurance telemarketer. Since my phone is registered on the "Do Not Call" registry, I filed a complaint at https://donotcall.gov/ Please go to the "Do Not Call" website and file a complaint too.
They Just called me today.. They are advertising insurance, I tried to call back so they can get me out of their system but for some reason, it doesn't exist when u call back..
