They called and said they were my grandchild who was in jail and needed money to get out. He supposedly traveled to Florida for a funeral and got arrested for a DUI. He said a lawyer would call back with details. A "lawyer" called back a couple minutes later with additional details about the arrest and said he called grandpa because he didn't want to call his mom and dad. We said we needed to call his mom first to make sure. He was home in bed, and calls back to the number went direct to voicemail.
Called 3x Sunday, last call was 6:15pm. Anyone calling on Sunday's at this time is up to no good. Could be someone from Miami prison. They call numbers to steal info for ID theft and to use your phone account to make long distance calls. Beware, don't even bother answering your phone is the best adivce I can offer.
I got the same call twice today. I didn't look to see who it was until after I tried to answer it but it wouldn't connect to the caller. I tried to call the number back but I got the same thing as most everyone else letting me know that the call could not go through as dialed. I got another call from that number a few hours later. It doesn't give me a very good feeling that it is happening to a lot of other people
I received a phone call with a recorded message, trying to sell me insurance. I do not know how they got my cell number. I am registered with do-not-call, and I do not want to receive phone calls from this company.
I received a phone call with this number for the past 2 days. I was unable to answer but when I tried to call the # back the operator said the call was not able to be completed at this time....check the # and try again. I don't know who it is since their was no message left but they need to STOP calling me.
