Called and wanted to know the make and year of my latest vehicle I told them it was a 1990 Toyota (I never owned a Toyota) and they wanted to extend the warranty on it what a scam !!!!!
I told them I was not interested but had a friend that was looking to extend theirs Mike Cox and gave them his phone number he is the attorney general for the State of Michigan.
I hope they call them!!!!!
Have received two calls from the same company in the past two days. When I called them back, both numbers were "not in service".
I pressed "1" to speak to the operator on the second call and got the same "make and model and year" question. When I told her we were on the Nat'l Do Not Call list, she hung up.
Call was from this number > 1-305-408-6643, at 10:44am, CST. They left a message on my answering machine (while I was away) saying, "We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call, before your vehicle is reclassified. Press 1 to speak to a warranty specialist, or press 2 and your file will be closed."
At no time, in the message, did they ever say WHO they were, or WHO they were trying to contact. Sounded pretty fishy to me!
For over 6 months, we are being harrassed by 305-408-6643. We are registered on the Government's National "Do Not Call" list and whomever this is, is in violation of our Do Not Call registration. When we answer, we get a recording about a car warranty that we do not have and we are unable to disconnect the recording. If we do not answer
305-408-6643 continues to call back!
