Called and wanted to know the make and year of my latest vehicle I told them it was a 1990 Toyota (I never owned a Toyota) and they wanted to extend the warranty on it what a scam !!!!!
I told them I was not interested but had a friend that was looking to extend theirs Mike Cox and gave them his phone number he is the attorney general for the State of Michigan.
I hope they call them!!!!!
Call this number and post a complaint. I just did it. This company has no idea that this call center is harassing and hanging up on people. Let them no so that they will push the issue. This lady assured me that something would be done about it.
I have just read through all the complaints, and my experience is the same. When I pressed #1, the agent immediately asked for my car information. I said,"Please take my name off your call list." His reply was "And what are you going to do about it, "the B word." He immediately hung up. What can be done about these calls? We shouldn't have to put up with such harrassing calls. They've been calling me for the last year about my auto warranty. They are RUDE and illegal!!! I am on the do-not-call-list. They just put the phone down if you ask them to put you on their do-not-call list. Today I played along with them. I finally got them to tell me who they are. Same warranty scam as described above. When I asked the guy to explain what this was all about, he said "You didn't understand the recording, David? I can't go through it again. You are useless." and hung up. Creepy that he knew my name.
