I just got a call from 305-587-2091. They said that they were calling to lower my interest rate and that they were calling from cardmember services. I asked the guy if he was calling from my visa card services, how come he didnt know what my current interest rate was and he hung up. I called back and got the message that this number is an unattended mailbox and it could not recive any incoming calls>>>SCAMS..
A recorded "...this is Rachel from Card Member Services..." This is when I hang up. Am getting so tired of running to the phone (at least once a week) to pick up to this annoying call. I, too, am listed on Do Not Call Registries but find it does no good for many solicitors.
I've rec'd a robo-call from "Rachel at Cardmembers Services" (305-587-2091) multiple times, despite being on the FTC Do Not Call LIst. From past experience, it does little to be on that list because--aparently--criminals don't heed it and there is no judicial follow-up.
I rarely share online about things, am not on Facebook Twitter, etc; BUT this is truly annoying. To anyone reading this: How about we all petition our congressional representatives and suggest that they raise the penalties for each infraction of the Do Not CAll List---then, actually prosecute them. I'd bet it would put a big dent in the national debt, and who but criminals wouldn't support this?
