I just got a call from 305-587-2091. They said that they were calling to lower my interest rate and that they were calling from cardmember services. I asked the guy if he was calling from my visa card services, how come he didnt know what my current interest rate was and he hung up. I called back and got the message that this number is an unattended mailbox and it could not recive any incoming calls>>>SCAMS..
I have a better idea as the scammers will not pay attention to penalties. I think Congress should force the phone companies to offer for free a way to block phone numbers or allow us to input only the numbers we want to get through. Example: Say something like input *87 (made up code) and then a number that you would allow through your system. In this manner the scammers could not get through and bother us. Added plus: We could abolish the Do Not Call list agency as they do not good anyway and save the taxpayers money!!!
Robocall, did not identify company, but said "press 1 to speak with a live operator. Yet another scam to "reduce your mortgage rate." My number is a celphone and has been on the Texas and Federal do-not-call lists for over a decade. Somebody needs to put these Florida-based criminals UNDER the jail in Guantanamo.

I am on the Tx No Call List and have requested multiple times (through their automated system and by speaking with someone) that they take my name off their list and they continue to call and call.
