I received this hang up 11:50 am cst , but we have another phone that does not have ID on it and have gotten SEVERAL calls where they ask your name, and then go on to say there is a problem with our computer or microsoft something or other.... usually a foreign accent. Yesterday my husband gave me the phone and said it was for ME.... didnt know WHY he didnt say WHO it was...it was because it was one of those idiots, AGAIN, as soon as he said the same old thing again, I said remove us from your calling list, and he said to me SHUT UP! I said shut up back and he did it back to me ! ! ! HOW IGNORANT AND RUDE! next time we will say please hold so I can have my wife/husband help you.... and then just leave the phone off the hook.... I BELIEVE this would keep them from making another call till we hung up on our end ? ? ? maybe I am wrong...all in all I / WE are sick of this stuff ! thanks for posting all the comments from folks like us. Apppreciate it !
The same guy with the thick Indian accent and noisy background called me too. FYI, Microsoft never makes cold calls to customers. The steaming pile of excrement wanted me to let him take control of my computer. If you ever get a call from 310-356-9110, don't answer.
Indian guy called me and told that he is calling from Microsoft Windows technical support!!! Then he asked me did i upgrade my windows??? i made him in talk for 2 minutes, and then he asked my credit card info........i abused him that much, he got shocked and hung up the phone.........Scammer....
Noticed this as a missed call on my home phone, which is a shame because I can't block the number. No message was left so I decided to Google it. Came to this site and read all the other posts. Will definitely not pick up the phone and I'm on do-not-call list so I'm headed over there to report it, not that they will do anything about it.
same thing as others. Wish there was a way to investigate. told him i'd have my IT dept look into it but i kept him on the phone for a long time...made him give me the license number of my windows 7 machine etc, Wanted me to call him back. said he'd email me a letter from microsoft vilifying his authenticity.
