I received a call from them today just stating that they needed to speak to my superintendent, since I try to screen the calls they didn't tell me much, but that it was regarding affirmative action compliance and gave me a case#. I am glad I did my research. Thank you for your comments to help me realize that this was just scammers and telemarketers trying to get information.
Thank you to all the above....we received a call at our facility today requesting the name of the Executive Director (me) and then called back later and gave a name of TOYA to call back and a reference number to an Affirmative Action the number to call back was 310-373-2868.....thank you to all the above again ....this saved me a scam!!!!!!!!!!
My call came from 310-363-7707, but was the same as described below.The caller was Lisa Faron, asking to speak to the superintendent and gave a reference number to use when returning the call.
We received a call from Anna today. She was very agressive and persistent in wanting a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent's voicemail so she could leave the message directly with them instead of going through me. When I asked her if this was a sales call, she got even more agressive by saying that they are a "firm" that helps businesses/organizations make sure they are in compliance with affirmative action laws. She never did say she was/wasn't a sales call. I told her sales calls don't get through to my supervisor and that ended the call.
