Microsoft Windows Tech Support. Calls claimed to be Microsoft employees, with employee#'s, and claiming to know license# etc. SCAM-SCAM-SCAM!! This scam has been around a long time, and all over the internet. They are good! Don't fall for it. Don't let anybody remotely connect to your computer! Just hang up. Had a bit of fun making them hold, playing dumb, and making them give me "proof" of address, phone#, IP address, license#, etc. ALL LIES! Just reported to the FTC, the REAL Microsoft, the national DNC list, and the state Attorney General. Sadly, it was most likely a waste of my time--and won't help anyone from falling victim to these skeezer-scammers. Oh well, did what I could with it... Typical skam call - phone rings, the number isn't familiar, let it ring, they hang up. Then I go on 800Notes and find out who they are. I've un into this scam before, but through different ph #s.
darn it, I didn't answer. I wished I had known it was going to be one of those stupid spam calls about Windows. I have so much fun with those when I happen to answer them:
Oh, I'm so glad you called me back! I need to make sure I'm ordering the right part for my windows latches. They are finally starting to break after 25 years. I just ramble on and on about my wonderful wooden Andersen windows, not letting them get too many words in.
When I finally let them start to tell me they are calling about computer Windows, I pretend like I haven't heard a word they are saying and go back to my windows latches topic. I time them from the point when I realize it is a scam and the longest I have kept them on is four and a half minutes. Guess I must have had a hot cup of coffee in my hand that day. :)
I like to ask people like this if they mind if I keep masturbating while we talk because they caught me deep into a session. Then I go to the computer, turn on some noisy porn and everything they ask me to do I say that I did.
