The number could be from anywhere in the world! Yes, the 'computer Tech' guys really try hard to speak with an American accent and use a typical 'American' name. I've been called numerous times over the years and had played my own games with 'Alex'...who got very mad when I told him I would not turn my computer over to him. I hung up when the swearing started. He called me back....twice. Last time I said I'd called the FBI.or FTC. He hung up. Two week after that, "Alex" called again. I reminded that I'd called the FBI, all my calls are now recorded. It's been almost a year. And so the scams start again with a new batch of idiots
Totally a scam. I have a Mac and they are telling me to push a Windows button. They are up to no good and are a SCAM. Thank you internet for making it easy to lookup their number.
Thanks all, now that I know what is behind the number
Someday when I have time, I may answer the call and preach to them telling them they can be saved from going to hell if they repent ... wonder how long they will stay on the line or call back? I'm more and more tempted to start doing this with the do not call violators...
I don't want to hear what they are saying, so why not give them something that they don't want to hear me saying? Soon.....
