The number could be from anywhere in the world! Yes, the 'computer Tech' guys really try hard to speak with an American accent and use a typical 'American' name. I've been called numerous times over the years and had played my own games with 'Alex'...who got very mad when I told him I would not turn my computer over to him. I hung up when the swearing started. He called me back....twice. Last time I said I'd called the FBI.or FTC. He hung up. Two week after that, "Alex" called again. I reminded that I'd called the FBI, all my calls are now recorded. It's been almost a year. And so the scams start again with a new batch of idiots
These [***] have called my number 5 times in 6 weeks! They called again on 8-1-16 @ 5:17pm. Left no message. I've reported them twice to donotcall.gov and they don't seem to want to do anything to stop the calls! No other choice than to put them on my "call block" list now. They'll be blocked for 4 months! I wish that I could reach my hand through the phone line and choke the living chit outta these [***]!
The caller had an India accent, he wouldn't identify himself only to say he was calling for the owner of the computer. I continued to ask him his name and why he was calling. Again he stated because of my computer. I stated I didn't call anyone about my computer and he said that's why he was calling. I am educated on these scams and told him so, told him to never call again. Beware of anyone calling regarding your computer, NEVER give them any information EVER!
Wow today I am getting a lot of "I am from Microsoft" and your computer is sending error messages...........again these cow humpers are trying an old but effective scam on those who are unaware or easily conned, don't answer, block, tell them to hump all the cows in India AND the bulls, lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
