The number could be from anywhere in the world! Yes, the 'computer Tech' guys really try hard to speak with an American accent and use a typical 'American' name. I've been called numerous times over the years and had played my own games with 'Alex'...who got very mad when I told him I would not turn my computer over to him. I hung up when the swearing started. He called me back....twice. Last time I said I'd called the FBI.or FTC. He hung up. Two week after that, "Alex" called again. I reminded that I'd called the FBI, all my calls are now recorded. It's been almost a year. And so the scams start again with a new batch of idiots
Received numerous calls from various numbers all are scams. Just block the number. Would hope at some point the FCC would start prosecuting these scams.
Last time that these [***] called me was on 7-5-16. They called my number again today (7-14-16 @ 3:15pm) and left no message again! It seems to be a computer scam run by an entity from overseas (India). Whatever you do, don't answer their calls or even play along when they call you and you accidentally answer!
