i got a call from the same number Mr John said we are receiving error and warning from your computer i did't
believe him but when he said let me show once ,then you would be able to believe me ,, i thought lets see
them he show me each and everything which he was talking about and then he fixed my computer ,,and he told his company name so they are good ,,
I hope you formatted your hard drive and reinstalled your operating system after letting them "fix" your computer by infecting it.

John Smith
I got a call from John Smith with a heavy accent. Right away I could tell this was a scam so I asked him if he was born in the US since his name was John Smith. (The idiot didn't realize he could have just used a foreign name since so many foreigners work here anyway.) He told me he was born in the US but had a father who was from India...which explains the accent (LOL)...although he grew up in NY.
The caller ID gave me 948-547-6077 when I asked for his company name and phone number John told me it was Red Hot ID Solutions 347-305-0007. When I kept asking him questions regarding his accent and company he got frustrated and transferred me to a Tech Specialist named Ron. Ron then (also with an accent) told me error messages from my computer were being sent to his desk and his job was to help me fix those problems. I asked him for what kind of error messages. At first he told me there were too many to list. So I asked to be just provide with 1 to understand how dangerous the situation was...finally he said, "I got an error 101"
I asked, "so is that for my Windows OS or Chrome?" he said, "Windows OS" ...I replied, "You must really be good at your job. I have a MAC." He hung up.
I called the number John provided just to see who would answer. Ron answered the phone. I asked what company I just call and he replied it was a pizza company. I asked for the name of the pizza company and he then asked me why I needed to know and hung up.
The entire conversation was recorded.
I got a call from a man with an Indian accent saying my computer was generating 80% errors and that he needed to tell me which applications so that I could be aware of them. He said he was calling from Microsoft but it seemed fishy to me. While I had him on the phone I put the number into google and found this.
The scammers are still at it and manage to rook one of my friends today. They left this ph# with him. 347-305-0007
I had a call like this last month. My strategy was to waste as much of their time as possible by getting the scammer to talk about the weather, his family, his boss, working conditions, salary rates, noise levels, seating comfort, motorcycles, etc. until he gets flagged for being unproductive. I then asked to talk to his boss and berated the boss for not giving out better wages and working conditions. Amusing when I pull it off <g>.
I have received numerous calls from this number stating we have an error on our computer. Told both people that called we have an IT tech that services our computer regularly and if we have errors I will call him to fix them. The people from this number seem to get upset as I refuse to log into Windows to let them in our computer. The last call, I told the guy I will write his directions down and give it to my boss. He told me to call him back once we have the error messages up and he will fix them. Called our IT Tech, this is definitely a scam. He told me to ask next time what specific error codes (they should have if they see our error codes that their calling about), BBB#, badge # and/ or he would be happy to have them call him next time to explain our errors. So, next time they call, I will give our IT Techs # and ask them to call him stating he has access to our computer. The IT Tech is looking forward to this call. SCAM - Watch Out!!
