i got a call from the same number Mr John said we are receiving error and warning from your computer i did't
believe him but when he said let me show once ,then you would be able to believe me ,, i thought lets see
them he show me each and everything which he was talking about and then he fixed my computer ,,and he told his company name so they are good ,,
They continue to try. They were so interested and concerned that Dabid called me back a second time. I said I would call him back after consulting Microsoft. The number he gave me was 347-305-0007.
Same as other pple here have noted. They say someone in the house is using too much internet. I took his name and number, said "thank you", and hung up.
Got this phone call April 4th. Heavily accented man who said his name was Scott, a microsoft technician working with microsoft and IRED. I said that I was aware of a microsoft scam because it's been all over the news the last couple of weeks and he said no, it was no scam that he could give me the exact date and time for all of the errors and virus' that are trying to attack my computer. I asked for that information and he said that I needed to turn my computer on so that he could walk me through how to fix them and again told me he could give me exact dates and times but never did. It was ironic because at 1:40am EST on April 4, my computer gave me a message that Windows could not load because there was a file missing or corrupt so when I got the call, it seemed very ironic. I asked him for the list of errors/virus' and he did tell me D@CP planter error, system bugs, side by side error, physical warning, blue bug virus, karmel memory error. He got very rude and laughed at me when I kept saying I was aware of a scam and needed him to spell everything because I couldn't understand him. Eventually he did give me a phone number of 347-305-0007 to call him back and said that the address was 140 Broadway, Manhattan, NY. I eventually told him that I could not start my computer and he said that he failed me because he didn't get to me earlier but not to worry, if I just turn it on and go to safe mode networking, he would walk me through everything at no cost because I have a microsoft license. I asked him for my name and my microsoft license # he couldn't tell me either, he wanted me to give him that information. I gave him no information and told him that if I needed his services, I would call him back. BEWARE!!!! We went over the list of errors and he added crashed files to the list. The caller id # was 800-313-0000. I am also on the DNC list.
