This is the second phone call I have gotten regarding a payday loan that I had not paid (of course I didn't have the loan so no I won't pay it!!). The name the first time was Allen, something. I got mad because they wouldn't give me any information about when or where I had such a loan, finally did get out of them that is was called USA Cash...looked it up... a brick and mortar loan company with a big web disclosure warning of this scam. Then today I get another call..loan company ..Speedy Cash..telling me for 869.38 they would clear up this debt..without me being "hauled to court" (their words)...they tried to make nice and told me since my record was clear and I had no prior problems if I sent them this money with a copy of my drivers licence and social security card they would drop CHARGES!! Sure...anyway, their supposed address is 100 Church street 4th. floor....New York, New York....also have a fax number (347-321-4225) I'm supposed to call in the morning with my credit card (told them I didn't have one) they told me to go to wal-mart and buy one and send them conformation and information...that I would be paying this ..DUH I tried to keep them on the line as long as possible in order to get lots of info. Watch for Don Mcloud --Adam Woods and Chris Carter...I have also reported this to my sherriff's office, city police and State's Attorney...They sure do make it sound real, someone could get taken by these guys.
i got a phone call last night from a guy claiming to be some guy named brandon somebody...he read me this list of charges against and i better get an attorney if this matter is settled i can be detained in jail for 30days or some nonsense...he is claiming i owe over 8,000 from speedcash i told him i have been unemployed for months and nobody would give me a loan for that amount my partner then got on the phone he does debit collections he told him an earful i really need to know how i can report this to the ftc so this doesnt keep happening its illegal for them to be threatening jail for a suppose unsecure loan this is insane and they need to be put in there place and shut down for good
received mutiple calls from a guy with a thick accent named Dan Brown..first of all there is no way a guy that sounded like that has a name Dan!!! but he is threating me to have me call or my attorney, and that it was time sensitive and legal matters would be taken if i dont respond to his voicemail, he also wished me good luck and said that events are about to unfold and they will not be good!!! first of all I work in a bank and I know I do not owe anybody money, this people are SCAM artist if anybody is able to obtain an address to these idiots please post it so I could contact the authorities, about the harrasment and threats they are leaving on my voicemail..I am so glad i was able to find this post because I was concerned at first but then i started to think about what lawyers office would ever leave a voicemail with threats on it!!! I really hope these people get what they have comming to them to scare and worry innocent hardworking people, I would love it if team six went in there office and did a covert mission like they did on bin laden that would be some nice retribution lol
They called my cell phone im a single 19 old mom and told me i would loose basically everything even said i had a warrant i cried because i was scared i would loose my daughter today they called me at work. how are they getting mt numbers and do you think i could sue them.
