Just got the call too. I almost fell for it because I had issues with identity theft last year where someone filed my taxes for me. That was a nice twist. I think thought that I better look up the number online first and asked them why their number comes up as an IRS scam. I heard nothing but dial tone. So I called back another 10 times to ask them for their address and why they call and scam people. Funny how I kept getting disconnected.
Received robocall in voicemail relating to the current IRS scam instructing me to call this number regarding "a lawsuit has been filed against YOU (no name inserted) by the IRS". Number blocked.
I received a call from an unknown number. There left a voice mail that sounded like a robot . Saying the same thing as the other. That there are filing a lawsuit. The number there left of voice mail is 347-418-0574
I've been getting these spam/robot calls for some time now. I hope reporting them makes it stop. They tell me to 347-418-0574 because the "IRS" is filing a claim on me (total BS).
