I just received 2 phone calls at my job!! stating the callers name is Fred Wilson (clearly speaking in a middle eastern accent !) saying he is from FDIC & then something about my SS number. I am soooooo sick of these [***]!!
They have been harassing me since Friday! Eric Johnson from several different places, E.L.F, A.L.C., and Bank of America. He even tried getting my social from my boss. Hmmm, red flag?!?
Is something being done about this??? Its out of local law enforcements hands.
Now i don't feel so bad!!!!! Gessh why do people do that. The number wasn't even coming up correctly on my phone. I got a call from a Lisa Brown. She sounded kinda of automated but was certain she was live...They should do something about this...I believe the company was acs or something around there...
Same here. They called me at work and left me a voice mail message. I returned call, they were unable to answer any questions or give me specific data. They threatened me with Jail...so off I go to report these rude, scamming ******** that think they can disguise themselves as a debt collection and legal counsel respresentative.
Same thing happened here only they were calling for my ex-husband. I told them that I had already asked them to stop calling me and that if they did it again I would contact my state attorney general. However, after reading all of your comments, I am contacting him on Monday.
