Same thing happened to me, but the caller said her name is Lesa Brown calling from a Legal department. She left me a message said that my last four digits of my social and my date of birth was being turned over to the police and that they would arrest me for not paying a loan. I have stopped answering my phone and they just keep leaving me messages. I am going to file a complaint with the police department. Don't fall for this scam.
I got the same call frome Eric Llyod, I also got a call from the same guy but he also use the name of Logan Stone. I had them fax over papers to me stating what I owed and all it had on it was the amount I owed, but there was now account number just dhad the abbraviations of ACS which was th name of the company they stated that they worked for. Now I did get a cash loan and it was weird because my loan had taking the min. payment and the next day I get a call from them and he states that I owe them 721.00 for non-payment. So they constantly call every sec and thats how I knew it was a scam, because really collectors would not blow your phone up like they do. Also those idiots called me on Thanksgiving and that truely pissed me off!! I answered and asked for me, "I told this is her and that today was the day for family and friends, Imnot dealing with you today you can call 2morrow.
I've had these num nuts call me more then a dozen times. THey've called my friends and threated them about me and alot of B.S.. Today I had enough and called them back. I got hung up on 5 times.But the last guy I talk to he gave me a address of 101 E. Green st. Garden City NY.. He then told me about some internet payday loan I took out last year..WTF?
these punks have been calling me NON-STOP at home AND at work! I had enough of it today so I kept calling them back to back with my cell phone (blocked number of course!) and my landline (blocked number again!) .. oh, yea they did not like that one bit! been doing it for the past hour and now i'm taking a break! back to harassing in a few!
this time they called the wrong person....i have been getting their calls also...middle eastern man...threatening to call my work...press charges etc.....i told him to stop or i would press charges....he asked to confirm that i was "jane doe" at 55555555...and I said NO....then I told him again if the calls did not stop I would press charges and had already read up on their phone number....
