Got a phone call from this number this afternoon, (and have it recorded!), stating that they are calling from the Internal Revenue Service, and when I called back, I asked, "the Untied States Internal Revenue Service?", to which he replied, "of course, what other Internal Revenue Service is there". When I told him I had there message on recording, he hung up. This needs to be reoriented to the Federal Authorities for investigation. This is ridiculous.
Called by number twice in the past 3 hours. Same bot message. Had previous dealings with IRS over failing to report earnings on sold shares, I received real contact from them through the US postal service as well as being contacted by real people with employee identification numbers. Please do not fall for this scam.
Got the same call on my land line today. Called back on my cell and got a person who barely spoke English; when I asked for someone who spoke English they hung up LOL
Got a call from IRS. I called back and they wanted Maria Viera told them I have never heard of her and this is not her number. Told them to take number off records. They wanted my date of birth. Told them I wasn't giving them anything.
I gave him make believe date of birth. He said I sounded sweet, he will come to my house to meet me. Told him to go back to work and hung up.
