Got a phone call from this number this afternoon, (and have it recorded!), stating that they are calling from the Internal Revenue Service, and when I called back, I asked, "the Untied States Internal Revenue Service?", to which he replied, "of course, what other Internal Revenue Service is there". When I told him I had there message on recording, he hung up. This needs to be reoriented to the Federal Authorities for investigation. This is ridiculous.
Received 2 robocalls from this number and surprise surprise the recording claimed the lawsuit jargon. I know for a fact the real IRS does NOT call to inquire about or inform people. They send letters in the mail.
