I forgot to say that the call originated from 724-596-6594. And I was told to call 202-864-1229 by a recording of a lady's voice. (Possibly computerized)
Same thing 3/6/15 - Robo call - Final Call - notice the IRS is filing law suit against me. Call 360-214-3607 - when call that number another recording saying leave message.
Just got the bogus call from the 'IRS'...this has been in the news quite extensively lately...Unfortunately, some people have been duped into following thru on the 'threat'
My mother received some of these calls. The first one scared her when she thought she was being sued by the IRS. After we told her it was a scam she just hung up when they called. Now she has been charge for long distance calls made to this number. She didn't make them. Check your phone bill if you pay for long distance.
I got a call today, like the others, saying that IRS was filling a lawsuit against me and this would be my last notification. I called the number they left, and some guy answered saying he didn't know why people were calling him. Then he hung up before I could talk. I tried to call back the number that the call came from, but there was an out of service message. I googled the numbers next....but I am not paying to find out who they belong to. I am convinced it was a poorly executed scam.
