360-229-7744: Has called three times in last several days - never leave a nessage. Caller ID gives number and shows it's from Shelton, WA. I do not know anyone from Shelton. Thanks for the above info. Will not be answering their calls!
Okay group - did a little checking and here's what you can do (I hope). First, register your telephone number with the Federal Government's "Do Not Call Registry" at https://www.donotcall.gov/; or check to see if you are already registered (I was).
Second, directly call the 360-229-7744 number. Their recorded message says they will put you on THEIR Do Not Call List by punching in #2. The message then asks you to confirm your choice by pressing #3.
If you continue to receive calls from this number - go back to the government's web site and submit a complaint.
So I just got called. He wanted to sell me an extended warranty on a 2005 Tahoe. We've never had one, He had the wrong type of vehicle. When I told him he was mistaken he asked for my husband and not his dumb wife. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said I was dreaming and hung up on me.
Received a call from this number and the male caller kept asking, "can you hear me?" and then laughing histarically and repeated the same "can you hear me? are you sure?" 3 to 4 additional times before hanging up.
The person who called asked for my mother. I asked who was calling, but didn't identify that I was not my mother yet. They told me that the warranty on a vehicle my mother no longer owns was expiring, and that they were offering extended warranty coverage. I kept asking where they were calling from and he kept saying "The Auto Processing Department." I asked which company and he kept saying that he works with companies such as Chevrolet. After realizing I wasn't going to get anywhere I told him the truth. My mother doesn't live here and has never been reachable at my phone number. He sounded really surprised. I asked for a supervisor after that and he said "If there was one." in a mocking tone, then hung up.
