Robo call claiming to be the IRS filing the lawsuit against me. No doubt a scammer, the Internal Revenue Service would send you a notice through the US mail.
Received threatening call @ 4.45pm in the afternoon saying "This your last notice. The IRS is filing a law suit against you. If you have questions, call 360-284-4863". Automated call. Called the number - no answer - no recorder to take messages. Very upsetting.
Have been receiving multiple calls from this number as well as other numbers including one from a DC area code with the same message about the lawsuit the IRS is filing against me. It's a total scam. I called back and of course, it's a number that has been re-routed from India. You can hear everyone in the background talking - all with Indian accents, but they have very American names which they take off the IRS website. It's annoying as hell.
