Have been receiving multiple calls from this number as well as other numbers including one from a DC area code with the same message about the lawsuit the IRS is filing against me. It's a total scam. I called back and of course, it's a number that has been re-routed from India. You can hear everyone in the background talking - all with Indian accents, but they have very American names which they take off the IRS website. It's annoying as hell.
Got a call at 2:18 p.m. Saying this was a final notice that the IRS was suing me. I don't have any problems with the IRS so I googled the number 360-284-4863 and saw all of the other post people are such scammers!!
robo call, no other info just that I was being sued by the IRS and to call this number callerid showed call from 1-360-566-2212 1:29PM JUN 16 WASHINGTON CALL. If you catch them, jail them. :)
Just received a call. I left it go to voicemail, the automated message must have started playing during my outgoing message as I only heard the last part of the message: 'to find out more about this claim against you call 360-284-4863' My telephone company voicemail system said the number that called was 011-360-566-2212 (international). There is no reason for anyone to have a claim against me so I plan to ignore it. Please don't get drawn in by these telephone scammers, the calls have been numerous lately both to my home and work numbers. Never give any personal data over the phone, even if they pass a legitimate name and/or number to your caller id, they have ways to override the information.
