Just received the call from this number saying they were calling for the IRS. I believe that if the IRS was going to sue me that I would have received an official letter from them first and not phone call that said on caller ID unknown name. I sure wish the telemarketers would stop calling.
I got a call from 360-450-0205 stating that the IRS was proceeding with a lawsuit for unpaid taxes. They left a message on my answering machine, so I called back. Someone with a heavy Asian ascent answered. When I inquired about the IRS they promptly hung up. A few days prior I received the same call from a different number 206-801-1884. They are both scams!
The IRS would NEVER phone you! They would correspond with you by mail.
I received the same message on my landline claiming to be the IRS and that they are going to file a lawsuit against me. Naturally I will not be calling back.
I called back. They ask for personal info. When I refused to & gave them only the phone number they called and ask who they where calling, the call ended
They called me just now claiming my boyfriend owed taxes from 2008- 2013 and that a warranty had been issued for his arrest. This people are full of BS. They claim to be the IRS but that's not how the IRS operates. They also called me from 360-450-0205. They are scam artist praying on anyone they can. This should be illegal and they should be arrested. Guy has a thick accent and I called back twice and he gave me two different names even though it was the same person.
