This information was in April issue of Costco magazine. I received same call last week. It was a recording
left on my answering machine.
Got call this afternoon saying it was the IRS and they'd made repeated attempts to reach me. (Not) That they were filing a lawsuit against me. Said to call 360-489-6074. Robotic female voice. Same gig. My friend who is an atty. with the IRS in D.C. said it's a hoax and they will never call you like that.
I just got a call from this number, left a robotic message saying it was the IRS and they're filling a suit against me. Definitely a scam. I don't owe the IRS money. If anything they owe me money!
