left on my answering machine.
I received a call from this number claiming to be a final notice from the IRS saying they are filing a lawsuit against me and I need to get in touch with them immediately. It was an automated, female voice with no names or further information. Knowing that the IRS does not do business over the phone, not receiving any previous info on this 'lawsuit' and the fact that it was automated with no names, including my own, it has got to be a scam. Want to report it to stop it before someone does fall for it. Also from what people are saying who have also received this call is that it keeps calling them several times a week.
Yes just got a call 30 min ago then looked it up here Same crap a robo voice claiming I'm being sued!! About 8 months ago I got a call stating this is Windows corporation and your computer is going to crash. Seems like to get a phone number to begin with the caller would have to provide traceable ID so this could be handled by the authorities when used illegally. Thanks for allowing me to vent :)
