Did not answer call. When called # back got message about Special Promotions or press 1 to add to do not call. I pressed 1. No mention of a company name in message.
Rec'd a call this morning on my cel from this number. I am also on the DNC list but *thank goodness* for my "Easy Filter" app for my smartphone. It's FREE and allows you to block numbers from ever calling again.
It also works with text messages. If you own a smartphone you need this app it's awesome.
FYI I have nothing to do with the company that makes the app, just wanting people who are frustrated beyond belief at all the solicitation calls like me to know that this is out there.
These jack-wagons call me every day on both my home phone and cell phone (both of which are on the DNC list) with a recorded message that this is my last notice of an opportunity to reduce my credit card interest rate. No doubt this is some kind of scam. I filed a complaint with donotcall.gov.
This company keeps calling both of our cell phones and our land line. I have reported them to the do not call, yet we keep getting these phone calls. I received one at 9 this morning, asked the man why he keeps calling me, he hung up. At 11:59 my husband received a call, the man said his name was Michael. When my husband asked for his last name he hung up. Where else can we go to get this stopped, I don't think the local police can do anything. Any suggestions?
