I returned the call but did not say who they were.  Said I could be removed from their list by pressing #1.  I did.  Nothing more.  Aren't these annoying?

This company called 10/222/11, which is registered with both the federal and state do not call lists. When I answered, I got a recorded message. I pressed the number to speak with a live operator, and he answered with the name David Walker. I said I wanted their physical address to give to the FTC for the dot call processes  -answer was best of luck with that and he hung up.  filing with the FTC complaints process

These annoying little cusse's have been calling for a LONG time.  I'd guess it's a minimum of a year, max could be 2 or 3 years since I remember calls from the 360 area call were the most common a couple of years ago & I'd thought maybe they'd gotten tired of calling me but, alas................
I'm surprised I haven't read this here yet however, easily rectified.  Whenever one of these calls comes through the thing you DON'T WANT TO DO is acknowledge in ANY WAY that they've found an active number.  They make these calls via computer & if I'm to believe what I've read their computers are powerful enough to call thousands of numbers per minute.  What they want to know is which of these cold hits are actually active lines & this is the reason they tell you if you are not interested & would like them to remove your name from their call list they ask you to press the 1 or 2 or whatever number key followed by the # sign or the * etc., because when  you do this they immediately know that [a] they reached a number which is currently assigned to someone & whether the number is a cell number or a land line.  They also know you speak English which, unlike Americans they do not make the assumption that if you speak it loud enough & slow enough everyone will understand it!  They also do this with the 'do not call' list because for them it's the 'hey, somebody complained from these numbers which means there's a somebody they can get at if they come-up with a clever enough scam'
I had a hard time believing this until I ran into a number of phone numbers that when I returned the call to the incoming number I would get a message which said 'this number is not in service' so we're now supposed to believe we've received a magical call from a number which doesn't exist?  I've also begun to see calls from the number: 000-000-0000.  Now, how is one supposed to report that?  Ghostly call from the hereafter?
Don't know if that helps or not but thought I'd share it.  I get so sick and tired of these damned calls.  Does anyone else get them 24/7 like I do?  They don't seem to care if they call at 3pm or 3 am.  Guess they figure someone who's gullible will be gullible night and day so why not double their chances of finding that poor soul.
God Bless
Maegi

Nicole, I feel your frustration. I wear the same uncofortable coat. The scurilous caller was a "pennies an hour" employee using a "war dialer" automatic phone dialing machine for an outfit that only cares about making a fast buck. Your "not on a list" per se. The company uses a computer driven phone dialer that is programmed to call numbers automatically. The "low pay" call taker picks up the phone on their end if and when you pick up the call on your end. They then give you their fast pitch. If your sucker enough to bite, they got you! If however, you refuse to take a call you don't recognize and rather let it go to either an answering machine at your home, or a "voice mail" service through your phone company, then, you have prevented their call from getting you. Now, should the call turn out to be legit, YOU have the option of either calling them back after IDing the caller, or waiting for them to call you back again. If it IS an important call, they will call you back, if it's bogus, they will just move on looking for an unwary sucker! Good luck! Don't get frustrated. The government won't do much about it till enough of us make noise in their direction.
