yep, got exact same call..I asked the woman 3x for her name and all 3x it was this is the Chamber of Commerce..She wante dme toverify address of business, I told her I had this same conversation with someone else and they should have it on file. (No, I didn't have conversation previously, that was a lie..LOL) She, then said she'd make a note of it and that was it.
This gal called me and asked all the same questions then about an hour later some East Indian guy called me and said I was asking for some sort of compensation for having my uterus removed and had some pain and suffering....I asked him what the heck he was talking about??? He was sure this was me gave my name and the city I lived in. I told him he was a scammer and to never call me again.
First of all I must say very unprofessional, rude and pushy caller. No introduction at all demand answers on address, manager, and when I inquire name or company they are calling from. They immediately become rude and short. I told them I do not feel they are a legit company and ask for them to fax over request and we will in turn check if they are legit they hang up phone. I finally did google search and found this site and others on it being a SCAM! Thank God they no information from me.
I tried to ask where she calls from. She just said Chamber of Commerce. And ask me to verify the company name and address. I know this is a Nonsense call and hang up to save my time. There are a lot of this kind of phone calls....helpless... Hang up... Hang up is the best thing to do.
