I called my mother and her caller ID identified my number as this number (which it is not). I called Centurytel, our phone service provider, and they are looking into it. Ugh.
I've received calls night and day, several times a week for roughly the last 2 weeks. I called MCI Worldcom (its one of their numbers) to see if they could help - they passed me around and then finally put me on an eternal hold.
I just missed a call from this number but they left a voice mail. I called the number back first though and got "the number you have reached is not in service, this is a recording". The voice mail was from my adviser at Kaplan University. It's the number from an answering service that businesses use and only for outgoing calls, they don't have the option of accepting incoming calls so everybody receiving calls from this number is for a different reason, mine was from school.
