I called my mother and her caller ID identified my number as this number (which it is not). I called Centurytel, our phone service provider, and they are looking into it. Ugh.
I work at the local community college here in Salt Lake City area. After attending a meeting, I observed a missed call on my office phone from this number. There was not a voice mail. The area code is for the Atlanta, GA area. I have not been in Georgia for almost 20 years and, to the best of my knowledge, do not know anyone currently living there.
A woman from some law form to inform me of having won a contest. After a little hype she asked me to sit down so she could tell me how much I won. After a joking comment I reported being seated and she said, "You have won five f***ing thousand dollars... and promptly hung up. I was not amused.
I just received a call from this number. They left a voicemail saying they are having a hard time processing my order. The phone number originates from Georgia. I'm not aware of an order from them. Verizon has an option to place a call on the reject list... It now has a permanent home there....
When they called here, they didn't ID themselves, but asked for shipping.
I tried to give him the email address I give all spam callers, but we had a language fail.
**Kidding, we apparently DIDN'T have a language fail.
He did e-mail me...though things are no less fishy.
The email came from YRC Freight (A company we do not use)

However, the 'local' phone number on the email is a Kansas area code 913-000-0000 Which is nothing.
