I called my mother and her caller ID identified my number as this number (which it is not). I called Centurytel, our phone service provider, and they are looking into it. Ugh.
I just got a call from this number. Said they were with the IRS. I laughed and said, "Oh, this should be fun!". And they hung-up.... I was looking forward to having some fun with them....
This is a "spooked" number. It's a voip line set up to a Georgia area code. They call me twice a day. It's a scam being run. People posing as the department of education lawyers saying "pay now or else"I contacted my local FBI and the calls stopped. I'm assuming they were arrested for misrepresentation of federal lawyers.
