just answered a call from this # as i was reading what others had posted. they asked to talk to parents of my high school age daughter said she had attended a college prep class or gone on a scholarship website and i told him she had not done such a thing. he asked me if i wanted to be placed on a do not call list and seemed very nice about it but we will see..... they have been calling for the past week a couple times a day so we will see if the calls stop.
The caller knew my sons name and said he checked the box on scollarship.com or fastweb.com that he wanted this SAT software package. I could purchase the software for $169.00 (today only) with my credit card number. I asked the name of the software and the caller did not clearly state the name of the software. He said I would pay $274.00 retail if I didn't purchase the package today. I pushed harder for the software name and he hung up on me. This screams SCAM!
