I received a call from this number stating they were an affiliate of Google and that if I wanted my business to be associated with their search engine directory to "press 1 now". Naturally I was smart enough to know better than to press any buttons not knowing where this phone number was coming from. Just answering the phone confirmed my existence so we'll see what happens now.
I know what you mean Texan, I have gone through the process of answering, pressing 1 to get a live operator and asking to be taken off of the list no less than 10 times. I just did it twice in the last 30 minutes. It is absolute harassment. Do us all a favor, please, and report back anything you find on how to file suit against these harassing [***].
