I received a call from this number stating they were an affiliate of Google and that if I wanted my business to be associated with their search engine directory to "press 1 now". Naturally I was smart enough to know better than to press any buttons not knowing where this phone number was coming from. Just answering the phone confirmed my existence so we'll see what happens now.
See my notes to others. These are not covered by do not call list as these aren't "legit" telemarketers bur robo calls/scammers. I have been dealing with the FCC/FTC and my phone carrier, Comcast, which made it easy to block the calls now.I have reported each and every call with the do not call registry and will continue to do so and also with the FCC/FTC. They can't investigate one consumer complaint but if all of us complain, maybe something will be done. Also contact your state's atty generals office.I am lucky to have the options with Comcast for retrieving time and last # called by pressing star 69 and also the blocking mechanism from home on my phone.They have used various area codes and #;s but still the same msg.
Several diff websites for tele #'s are on the internet. Some will even tell you the phone carrier, and if cell or land line.Most are unpub cell. See my other notes. I contacted my phone carrier per FTC/FCC and got the power from home to block the calls now.And the best way to get the #'s and time is by pressing star 69(if you have that option)Now that I have blocked several, we'll see what happens tomorrow(Thurs 6th)I have stopped answering phone and just start 69 it now till it stops.And if I am at home and the TV is on, the whole # will flash across the screen., It's great. I have Comcast.

Most originate from ND/SD/MT, etc.They are not legit telemarketers per FTC/FCC so aren't bound by the do not call registry but I will still continue to report them. Keep a log of allthe calls,#'s, times, etc.Call your tele carrier about blocking the #'s. I did today and didn't know I had the capabilityoif blocking them from home..yipee..(I have Comcast)
