Are you sure you don't mean lawbreaking Portfolio Recovery Associates? The name sans "recovery" appears to be for an innocent looking PR firm in Philly.
Register your own phone number with the Do Not Call Registry first, then each time Portfolio Recovery calls you, report that number as harrassing to the DNCR, they will take care of it.
These people called my cell phone then called my work phone. the guy told me that he was fixing to send someone out to arrest me. I told him to come on, I would arrest him for tresspassing. I do not know where he got my work phone since I had just started working there a week prior to that call. I hate these people.
They continue to call me about a loan my husband's ex-wife opened in his name. I have told them to not call me! I guess it's time to quote privacy laws and threaten to press charges. This debt is over 10 yrs old.
